Niagara Falls by Night
Today was a bit grey, so we decided to head to Niagara Falls, but this time see the falls by night. We probably headed off a bit early as it only took 1hr to drive there, so we ended up having lunch, dinner and games before it went dark! When we arrived we noticed a London Eye style wheel called the Sky Wheel overlooking the falls, which we went on just after lunch.
To kill a bit of time we got a bit addicted to two fun fair games in the Midway Arcade. One where you have to stop lights on a bonus line to win prize tickets. The other was where you had to drop balls onto a moving disc and try and steer them into a prize hole. We must have spent over 2hrs int he arcade, but we had fun and got a small bounty of crud prizes, including a monkey handbag!!
The sun finally went down and the Niagara lights came on, much to our disappointment it was a bit crud! But as it gradually got darker and colder(!) the lights started to show up on the falls to more effect.
